The post office screwed up a package last year that I sent as a Christmas gift. 18th to be delivered by the regular mail man and there was no tracking number for drop offs by FedEx. They verified it was dropped at the Nottingham Post Office on Dec. They told me that I needed their tracking number not the one for FedEx. I dialed again and got a different person.
